Forbes magazine considers him as one of the most influential liberal thinkers today.
Hitchens began questioning his faith when he was 9 years old. He wrote a controversial verse attacking Mother Theresa titled The Missionary Position and he also wrote God is Not Great. He has written more than 10 best sellers, including The Postponed Liberation of Iraq, Why Orwell Matters, The Trial of Henry Kissinger, and Letters to a Young Contrarian. He's an editor for Vanity Fair and a prolific collaborator in American journals and magazines, including The London Review of Books, The Los Angeles Times Book Review, The New York Review of Books, Newsweek International and The Washington Post.
