          JAMIE WHYTE

Winner of Analysis journal’s prestigious ‘best article by a philosopher under 30’ award.

Popular Philosopher. He has published numerous articles, mainly on the subject of truth in journals such as Analysis and The British Journal of the Philosophy of Science, and for The Times newspaper. He has written several books, including Crimes Against Logic, Bad Thoughts and A Load of Blair. His style attempts to dissect confused logic and nonsensical arguments, specifically the public pronouncements of modern politicians.

It is often said that people have a right to their opinions, but do they? Whyte argues that they don't, not if they're not true. Shouldn't we want to protect the truth rather than our own opinions?
