          NASSIM NICHOLAS TALEB

Distinguished Professor of Risk Engineering at New York University's Polytechnic Institute and a visiting professor at London Business School.

He is an essayist and one of the most important researchers of “chance”. He focuses on being a researcher in the philosophy of randomness and the role of uncertainty in science and society, with particular emphasis on the philosophy of history and the role of fortunate or unfortunate high-impact random events, which he calls “black swans.” His research implications in science, business and personal life have provoked the most prestigious U.S and foreign media to share his conclusions.
