Considered by some to be the most influential philosopher in the world, he tackles great themes like the nature of conscience, free will and the evolution and religion.

He is one of the top cognitive science philosophers, specially in the study of Artificial Intelligence and memetics. Daniel C. Dennet is co-director for the Center of Cognitive Studies at Tufts University and wrote Breaking the Spell, Freedom Evolves and Darwin's Dangerous Idea, among others. He co-founded and was coordinator of the Curricular Software Studio at Tufts University and also of the Computer Museum in Boston.
